Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Lexus IS350, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class one custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number C11372.Here's what our current hitch looks like fully installed on our Lexus. It is going to sit right below the bumper, and the cross tube is going to be visible, but it's going to sit back far enough that it's not going to be a big distraction against our Lexus. It is a class one hitch, which means it's going to be great for some light duty towing, a bike rack, or even a cargo carrier; especially if you are trying to carry a bike rack and you don't want to deal with the hassle of putting a roof rack on, or possibly mounting a truck mount to your car, potentially damaging the finish.It's going to make it a lot easier to transport those items without having to lift them up onto the roof, or again, putting them on the back of your truck, to be able to mount a bike rack, and to add that extra space for the cargo carrier, freeing up space inside of our car.Since it is a class one, it is going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and quarter receiver tube opening. The way we're going to mount all those accessories is through the half inch pinhole on the side here; and the pinning clip are included in the kit, which is always a nice added bonus.As far as the safety chain connection points, we're going to have a plate style that's welded to the bottom. The safety chain loops. As you can see, it is going to have a little bit of a flange, but we shouldn't have too much trouble getting most size hooks on or off. more
